STRONG AND STABLE

Is expensive but worth it, it easily retracts on itself, the guide works (unlike a different brand which did not) is easy to pull out and stop at any point. The unit itself swivels from side to side so is easy to move about the yard once extended.Installed on shingle sided house- with templates and instructions included. Works smoothly. Have not had it a full year yet but Gardena makes excellent products so expect this to last years.
Everyone needs this product
We had always hesitated to buy this because it’s so pricey but after the frustration of working manually with water hose for a few seasons I decided to splurge on this despite my spouse disagreement to spend this kind of money.. but oh boy this self recoiling garden hose has changed my gardening mood and it’s such a joy every time the hose recoil back to the box with so much ease. I hope this top quality product will last a life time ! Why didn’t I buy this earlier ?!
The concept behind this product is amazing, and it functions as designed, but the connectors, especially the quick connct pieces, leak. I can't leave a hose timer hooked up to this because of a constant drip. The default adaptor pieces are plastic, so you need to purchase accessories on top of the already expensive product. Overall very happy with it, easy to install, light weight and compact.
Bought two of these for the corners of my house. Now that winter is here I have placed them inside the garage to prevent freeze damage. The quick connect system is a delight.
This hose reel is so easy to use and winds up the hose so neatly. My previous hose reel had wheels but was a plastic mess. This reel works great and easy to install. Only downside is the half in hose size. SO not as much volume.
I had a retractable hose in the back yard and decided i wanted one for the front.I have a giraffe brand in the back and i liked it well enough - it is a bit short but retracts well.I decided i would take a chance and try this brand - NO REGRETS!
